The BEST Trust has been working in partnership with local schools for 20 years and includes among its workers a number of members of Mount Zion Independent Methodist Church.
The Mount Zion BEST team of Alan, Pauline and Shirley are still regularly involved along with others from local churches.
It is very encouraging that we receive an invitation and warm welcome into thirty different schools from nursery age to college students.
We spend most of our time delivering assemblies, sometimes three in a day and as many as twelve in a week. We thank God that there is a continuing openness to the Christian message in our local schools.
At the end of the summer term we were able to take Colin and Rena into schools

to talk about the school project in Ghana. This was very well received and the children were able to buy special pens to help provide books, desks and equipment for the new school. When all the money is collected pupils and staff will have raised £2,000, a great effort. At the beginning of the autumn term we were able to tell the pupils this good news and that the school would open in September. We hope that more links between Burnley schools and Bright Star Ghana can be established.
We continue to support local schools in every way we can with regular visits special presentations and events.
We thank the church fellowship for all their prayers and support as we look forward to the blessings of another year reaching out to thousands of young people in the name of Jesus.

If you would like to offer prayer or financial support please write to
