How we help missions...

Missionaries working in a number of different parts of the world are supported by Mount Zion. They include:

Anne Stanworth has now retired from her work in the Philippines, but we continue to support the work out in Sariaya. The church fellowship is now in their new building.

David and Mary Robinson have worked in Thailand and Cambodia for more than 30 years. Mary was a physiotherapist helping patients with leprosy and David was field director. They are now in the UK working for OMF International, Ethnic Ministry Team and their ministry will be amongst the Thai people.

Gail, Daniel, Melissa and Ruth Castro are in Bogata, Colombia, working with OMS International. Gail is involved with Hope House - a home for street boys while Daniel works with leaders and teaches. They have now returned to the U.K. for further study and extended Home Assignment.

The Berkeley Family are working with OMS International as well as the worldwide ministry of mission.

Jennifer Cochrane is with Youth with a Mission in San Francisco helping Afro-American young people.

Two other families work in North Africa - one with an agricultural project and another in the tourist trade. Both work voluntarily in orphanages as well.

Other mission workers and organisations are helped in the course of the year.

An Auction of Promises

Following the successful auction held in April 2006, when the church raised about £2,000 for mission work.
Another auction took place on 29 March 2008, and so far £1,040 has been raised.
