How we help others...

Mount Zion members help many organisations in the course of each year.

Recently they gave donations to the Cliviger Village Hall Committee; Homestart; the work of A Rocha in the Czech Republic and Speaking Volumes - Christian books in schools.

Members also provide regular assistance to the elderly in Cliviger, giving transport to get to hospital, doctors, dentists, opticians or even shopping.

Meals are regularly offered to pensioners and there are services held at local care homes.

And a team under the banner of BEST - Burnley Evangelical Schools’ Trust - make regular visits to local schools.

Helping those unable to help themselves

The church also supports a number of mission workers in different parts of the world.

These workers include a Ghanaian student - Bright - who is returning to Ghana to build a primary school and educational facilities for older children.
