Who Are We?

Mount Zion is a group of ordinary people who believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God and have found Jesus Christ to be their saviour and friend - someone who gives inner peace, strength for daily living and a hope for the future.

Mount Zion is an Independent Methodist Church. The term “Independent” indicates a congregational form of church government and “Methodist” reflects our doctrinal position and form of worship. As well as being members of the Evangelical Alliance, the church is also in partnership with the Baptist Union of Great Britain and sponsors and supports a number of missionaries throughout the world.

Why we are here

We believe that the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only message that holds real hope for today. It is our sincere desire to share with everyone the blessings that spring from personal faith in Jesus Christ.

Mount Zion is here to help you meet him.

We offer a warm and friendly welcome to all and promote a full programme of activities, for all age groups, throughout the week.
