Saturday prayer time...
He has Risen!

Saturday 3rd April 2018

Saturday prayer time.

Where are we? In Gods house.

Holy spirit, please join us and guide our hearts and minds with what pleases our Lord Jesus....

Lets think about- “being in Gods presence....”

This is the message of the cross, that we can be free,

To live in the victory, and turn from our sin,

My precious Lord Jesus, with sinners you died,

For there you revealed your love and you laid down your life.

You set me free when I came to the cross,

Poured out your blood for I was broken and lost,

There I was healed and you covered my sin,

It's there you saved me, this is the message of the cross

This is the message of the cross, that we can be free,

To lay all our burdens here, at the foot of the tree,

The cross was the shame of the world,

but the glory of God,

For Jesus you conquered sin and you gave us new life!

He has risen...

The end of lent, the end of fasting, the restoring of whatever we gave up. What an amazing feeling it is to have whatever we gave up for lent! How was your first chocolate, or sweets on Easter Sunday?

Imagine if what you gave up was your closest, most loved relationship with your Father? How un-bearable that must have been, but oh how sweet that first meeting with His Abba, Father in Heaven that must have been for our dear Lord Jesus!

What a time of celebration for Jesus, coming back home victorious after being out on the battle field. No one on earth could possibly have seen that amazing checkmate coming! And what wealth He brought back from the battle. He redeemed every soul who turns to Jesus and accepts Him as Lord. He broke the power of hell. Then He shares His amazing power with us, his children, If we only believe! Just imagine what it must have been like witnessing that amazing display of power at pentecost when the Holy spirit came!

On our own, we may be weak, but working hand-in-hand with the Holy spirit, with our faith pounding deep in our hearts, but a sincere belief, nothing is impossible! What a formidable combination of Faith, Hope and Love is. The only question is, what are you going to do with your faith, hope and love?

Lets spend a little time, Thinking about Jesus going back to His Father in Heaven, that first conversation, that first look, that amazing compassion. How much love flowed between Jesus and His Father in that meeting?

Lets realise, those feelings you have going on thinking about this meeting, is only a small reflection of the feelings Jesus had in His mind and heart for you on that day and today!

Lets spend some quiet time asking Jesus how He feels for you, discussing His dreams and hopes for you. Make this time purely between you and the one who loves you beyond this world! Our Lord Jesus!

Lets remember we are not perfect, which is exactly why He died for us, to pay the price for our sins, and make us right with our Father God. It is quite a surprise, but its okay we are not perfect. The important thing now is to spend some time confessing our sins to our Lord, and asking for His forgiveness. Ask Him for healing, for restoration, for His love to wash over us. It is what He wants and expects from us.

Now we are in right standing, what are we going to do? How are we going to share this most precious love? What 1 thing can we add to our daily routine to spread this amazing love? How can we respond to the magnificent gift our Lord Jesus just gave us?

Each of us has been given 1 or more gifts. This reminds us we are special, unique, and one of a kind. How are we going to use this gift? How are we going to sharpen and perfect this gift? How are we going to bless others with the gifts we have been given to share?

Are we going to be 1 Denarius people, 5 Denarius, or 10 Denarius people. Lets dare to live big, 10 Denarius all the way.

Lets be the light on the hill this Easter for our Lord Jesus, for our Father God, and for all that are looking for hope and a home!

Happy Easter!

God bless,

Tony
