Saturday prayer time...

Pray for those in a season...

Saturday 4th November 2017

Saturday prayer time.

Where are we? In Gods house.

Something to think about. Psalm 122:

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. ”

Lets think about- “being in Gods presence....”

Lord, I come to you, Let my heart be changed, renewed,

Flowing from the grace That I found in you.
And, Lord, I've come to know The weaknesses I see in me

Will be stripped away by the power of your love.

Hold me close, Let your love surround me,

Bring me near, Draw me by your side;
And as I wait, I'll rise up like the eagle, And I will soar with you; Your spirit leads me on In the power of your love.

Lord, unveil my eyes, Let me see you face to face,

The knowledge of your love As you live in me.

Lord, renew my mind As your will unfolds in my life,

In living every day In the power of your love.

In this quiet time, lets invite the Holy spirit to guide us.

Last month we were thinking about our journey with our Lord Jesus and our Father God. We were also thinking about the season we are in now, and the seasons we have been through.

As we work through the following ideas, lets bear in mind how we feel about family and friends who are having a hard time, and how our heart can ache and want to help. Imagine how big that ache would be for our Father and Lord Jesus for every one He has created. How much He wants us to lift each other in prayer. Jesus gave us prayer so we can help each other.

This week, lets think about the season our family is walking through, the things they are facing, and lets spend some time praying for them.

Lets widen our thoughts to think about the season our church family members are walking through, and how much they need our prayers.

Finally lets widen our thoughts more, and think about and pray for those people we know of who are going through a season and need our prayers. Maybe neighbours, work colleges, or people we just know of.

Lord we thank you for the heart you have for each of us, and the heart you have given each of us to care for one another. Please guide our hearts and open our eyes to those you want us to lift in prayer throughout this month. Lord thank you for the gift of prayer. Please help us to use it wisely and for others as well as for our selves. Help us to pray in line with your will and your love. In your precious name we pray Jesus, Amen

Why not use this space to write down who has come to mind in this session, and who to pray for during this month.
